E-commerce Meets Technology – An Exciting Start to Modernlog
The MODERNLOG Trade Fair – the most important and largest event for the logistics, warehousing, and automation industry in Poland – has officially begun in Poznań. The main theme of the opening day was logistics for e-commerce.
From the very first day, it was clear that this is a must-attend event for anyone keeping track of modern trends in intralogistics and warehouse technology.
Expert Knowledge and Networking – "Logistics for E-commerce" Conference
The event that kicked off the substantive program was the "Logistics for E-commerce powered by Allegro" conference, held on the Partner Stage in Pavilion 8. The event brought together logistics professionals, retailers, supply chain managers, and technology providers, all united by a common goal: to find answers to the question of how to effectively build logistics that support the dynamic growth of e-commerce.
Among the speakers were representatives of leading companies from the e-commerce, logistics, and technology sectors. Each speaker shared practical insights gained from dealing with the day-to-day challenges of e-commerce logistics. The panel discussions and presentations were enriched with concrete data and implementation examples, giving the conference a distinctly hands-on character.
The event program was tailored for companies operating in the fast-paced world of online shopping – from small e-stores to large sales platforms.
During the conference, participants had the opportunity to explore key challenges and trends shaping modern e-commerce logistics. Experts spoke about topics such as warehouse automation and robotics, the challenges of fast delivery and last-mile logistics, as well as efficient returns management and customer service. Special attention was also given to the use of data in management processes and the integration of fulfillment solutions that enhance operational efficiency. Sustainability in e-logistics – an increasingly important issue – was also a major topic of discussion.
The gathering created a space for experience sharing, asking questions, and building business connections that can have a real impact on the competitiveness of companies operating in the e-commerce sector.
Innovation Within Reach
The exhibition halls were filled with the technologies of the future. Market leaders in automation, robotics, and warehouse systems – both Polish manufacturers and global brands – showcased their solutions. Visitors can expect to see:
- mobile and autonomous robots,
- automated racks and conveyors,
- WMS systems and data analysis tools,
- solutions for sustainable and efficient logistics.
