November - pushing supply chains to their performance limits
As a recent Trans.INFO report points out: “The turn of summer to autumn is a testing time for global logistics. It’s the peak shipping period when goods intended for, among others, Black Friday, St. Nicholas Day, and Christmas start arriving at target markets.”

The Polish economy is showing signs of recovery - in Q2 2025, GDP grew by 3.4% year-on-year, while private consumption accelerated to 4.4%. As a result, retail today must take care of product availability and supply chain stability more than ever before.
Shipments are spreading out over time - “some companies even started sending holiday goods as early as June,” and the importance of multimodality is growing. Sea, rail, and air transport are forming increasingly complex networks, where careful planning becomes crucial. Nearshoring and proximity to target markets are becoming real strategies - warehouses closer to customers, combined with greater flexibility in co-packing and value-added warehouse services, are turning into competitive advantages.
The upcoming logistics peaks show that supply chain resilience is not a choice but a necessity. Logistics companies, warehouse operators, and technology providers who integrate different transport modes, offer advanced warehouse services, and co-create strategies with their clients gain an edge. As Trans.INFO notes: “Logistics is becoming more strategic than ever before.”
In this context, early shipment planning, flexibility in transport mode selection, and integrating warehouse services with additional offerings such as co-packing, labeling, or promotional kits are increasingly important. Building partnerships and integrating technology are key, while companies that only execute transport lose out to those who advise and co-create solutions.
We invite all Modernlog participants - operators, carriers, clients, and suppliers - to reflect on their own supply chains and discuss how to jointly build logistics resilient for the future.
