The Internet of Things and smart warehouses – another day of MODERNLOG 2024 is behind us
Thursday at the Logistics, Warehousing and Transport Fair MODERNLOG was marked by the Smart Warehouse conference. Last day was also another opportunity to watch live machine demonstrations, as well as business networking.
As part of the second part of this year’s Smart Warehouse conference, 2 panels were held with the participation of experts from well-known and popular brands. Among the speakers of the discussion led by Artur Olejniczak (University of Logistics) were Mateusz Chudy (Philips), Zbigniew Łaskarzewski (AIUT), Grzegorz Prorok (Consafe Logistics Group), Sebastian Grabowski (Orange Business) and Katarzyna Rybicka-Dećko (Coca-Cola HBC). The conversation about Digitalization and IoT – support in storage processes was an attempt to answer the question, is it possible to materialize the concept of the Physical Internet? Sławomir Budzaj (PSI Polska Sp. z o.o.), Marcin Łapiński (ILS Sp. z o.o.), Daniel Kusak (Ferag Polska sp. z o.o.) and Marcin Albetzki (Körber) were on the panel of Piotr Sędziak (Orbico Poland). During the presentation, our speakers discussed the key areas as well as the challenges and future of warehouse automation.
As part of the exhibition area, visitors once again gathered to watch impressive live machine demonstrations in the In4Log area, organised in cooperation with partner Medialog publishing house. The coming, last day of the fair is the final opportunity to see in action the logistics solutions offered by the following companies: MOSCA, FRONIUS, POL-PLAN, LUCA, ANTER SYSTEM, AIUT, DALMEC, AGROMA POLSAD, WINTERWARM POLSKA and RedSteel.
