The MODERNLOG 2026 Awards Were Presented: The MTP Group Gold Medal and the Acanthus Aureus
During this year’s edition of the MODERNLOG 2026 trade fair, the MTP Group Gold Medal and Acanthus Aureus awards were presented. As is tradition, the awards went to companies and solutions that are setting the direction for the development of modern logistics, intralogistics, and warehouse process automation.
The fair’s most prestigious award - the MTP Group Gold Medal - was presented to the EPG AURA Observer solution, submitted by BFOUND GmbH and manufactured by the Ehrhardt Partner Group (EPG). The competition jury recognized the solution’s innovative nature and its tangible impact on improving the safety and efficiency of warehouse processes.

EPG AURA Observer uses existing camera infrastructure to detect operational events and potential threats in real time. Thanks to Intelligent Video Analytics (IVA) technology and AI-powered semantic interpretation, the system identifies, among other things, blockages, hazardous situations, and process deviations. Importantly, the solution operates without recording video and with full anonymization of individuals, creating a new layer of operational intelligence for modern warehouses and logistics centers.
During the ceremony, Acanthus Aureus statuettes were also presented—awards given to exhibitors for trade show booths that best combine architecture, design, and marketing communication with building a positive brand image. The competition winners once again proved that a modern presentation of the product offering and an attractive exhibition design are key elements of effective communication with trade show attendees.
The following companies’ booths were honored:
- Kardex

- MGL

- Syncore

- Modula

- Transsystem

The ceremony was one of the highlights of the MODERNLOG 2026 program, highlighting the role of innovation, technology, and creativity in the development of the logistics industry. We congratulate all the winners and thank you for helping to create an event that inspires the logistics and warehousing sector to continue growing.
