Automation and robotization has entered the logistics industry! Summary of the first day of MODERNLOG 2024
The first day of the Poznań trade fair for logistics, transport and warehousing was a unique opportunity to meet with key representatives of the market.
At the booths in pavilions 7A and 8, it was possible to get acquainted with the latest logistics technologies offered by more than 100 exhibitors. As part of the event, there were also live machine demonstrations in the In4Log zone, created in cooperation with Medialog publishing house. The participants of the fair also had the opportunity to visit special thematic zones and the parallel ITM Industry Europe and Subcontracting - Industrial Cooperation Fair.
Gold Medals Handing Out
During this year’s inauguration, the MTP Group Gold Medal awards ceremony took place. The MTP Group Gold Medal was awarded by the jury to 5 products submitted by companies at the Modernlog fair. In turn, the jury awarded 22 prestigious awards to products submitted at ITM 2024. The selection of the winners was a big challenge for the experts evaluating the submitted products and solutions, due to their high level of innovation and unique characteristics related to sustainable development. - The products awarded this year are world-class and contain the latest solutions on our industrial market - says prof. dr hab. inż. Michał Adam Wieczorowski, Chairman of the Golden Medal Competition Jury, Vice-Rector for Development and Cooperation with Economics, Poznań University of Technology.
Among the winners were products of Sparck Technologies BV, MOSCA DIRECT POLAND Sp. z o.o., REESINK LOGISTIC SOLUTIONS PL Sp. z o.o. and KARDEX POLSKA Sp. z o.o.
The first day of the fair turned out to be particularly happy also for companies HIKVISION POLAND Sp. z o.o. and SEALED AIR POLSKA Sp. z o.o., whose stands were awarded the prestigious Acanthus Aureus award.
Live machine demonstrations in the In4Log zone
At 9:00 a.m., the first live machine demonstrations started in the In4Log zone, realized in cooperation with the MEDIALOG Publishing House and technology partners. The partners of the event took care to show the warehouse processes with the use of numerous innovations, such as systems for streamlining and automating logistics processes, machines and equipment for securing goods, efficient batteries, constructions of lightweight tent halls, as well as packing tables. This year’s zone includes: MOSCA, FRONIUS, POL-PLAN, LUCA, ANTER SYSTEM, AIUT, DALMEC, AGROMA POLSAD, WINTERWARM POLSKA and RedSteel.
What awaits visitors tomorrow?
On the second day of the fair, the most important warehouse conference Smart Warehouse will take place. On the programme: 5 discussion panels, case studies, networking, a significant dose of logistics 4.0 and modern solutions for warehouses of the future.
